Tribute Restoration team
About Tribute Restoration Inc.

Built for NYC exterior restoration.

Tribute restores and protects New York building envelopes where the details matter: active properties, tight access, weather exposure, water intrusion, DOB coordination, and existing conditions that have to be understood before they can be repaired.

A licensed exterior restoration contractor serving New York.

Since 2014, Tribute Restoration Inc. has helped property owners, managers, architects, and general contractors repair, restore, and maintain building exteriors across New York City. Our role is to bring structure to complicated exterior scopes, from the first review of a condition to the final closeout of the work.

Our work spans facade restoration, masonry and stone repair, waterproofing, roofing, concrete, custom railings, sheet metal, and related exterior scopes. We are fully licensed, bonded, and insured, with crews and project managers accustomed to working around occupied buildings, public sidewalks, adjacent properties, and demanding schedules.

How Tribute Started

Tribute was founded by Artur Slabuszewski and Wesley Lenard to bring steady project control, technical knowledge, and reliable field execution to exterior restoration work in New York. From the beginning, the company grew by staying close to the work: walking buildings carefully, understanding how water moves through an envelope, planning access, coordinating trades, and delivering repairs that hold up after the scaffold comes down.

Our Mission

Our mission is to preserve and strengthen New York buildings through exterior restoration work that respects the structure, protects the envelope, and supports the people who use the property every day. That means balancing technical repairs with communication, scheduling, safety, and the realities of working on buildings that cannot simply stop operating.

How We Approach a Project

Exterior restoration is rarely just one trade or one repair. A lasting result depends on investigation, access, sequencing, documentation, and careful execution in the field.

01

Understand the Building

We look at the visible failure, the surrounding conditions, and the larger envelope system before recommending a repair path.

02

Plan the Access

Exterior restoration depends on safe access. We coordinate scaffolding, sidewalk sheds, rooftops, occupied units, and public areas.

03

Execute the Details

Crews focus on the field conditions that determine whether a repair lasts: preparation, sequencing, terminations, transitions, and water control.

04

Close the Loop

We document progress, address discovered conditions, coordinate with the project team, and help move the work toward a clean closeout.

What Guides the Work

Good restoration work is technical, but the experience around the work matters too. These principles shape how our office, field teams, and partners move through a project.

Safety

Exterior work happens above sidewalks, entrances, rooftops, balconies, and occupied spaces. Safety planning is part of the job from the first walkthrough.

Craft

A repair has to do more than look finished on day one. We pay attention to substrate conditions, tie-ins, drainage paths, and material compatibility.

Communication

Property teams need to know what is happening, what changed, and what is next. We keep the work visible with practical updates and clear coordination.

Accountability

The same care that goes into the estimate has to carry through field execution, change conditions, documentation, and closeout.

Problem Solving

Existing buildings reveal conditions slowly. We adapt to hidden damage, access limits, active tenants, and the realities of working in New York.

Respect

A restoration site is still someone else's building. We work with attention to access, cleanliness, daily operations, and the people moving through the property.

Meet the Team

Tribute's work is delivered by project leaders, estimators, administrators, workshop specialists, and field crews who understand the pace and constraints of exterior restoration in New York. The team brings together estimating, drafting, logistics, fabrication, purchasing, project management, and field execution so complicated scopes can move with control.
